Qnushyo developed into a community space that focuses on creative educational programs for young Syrians of all faiths and backgrounds.

What We Do

Qnushyo was started by the Swedish Research Institute to support Assyrian families to resettle in Sweden. Currently, the space regularly supports 30-40 Syrian children ages 3-14. Our volunteers have been organizing  educational workshops for children featuring various subjects such as language, digital literacy, and environmental science.

What We Need

Volunteers looking to volunteer with Syrian children in a wide range of programs, including Turkish and English lessons, digital literacy, and environmental science programs.

Our volunteers currently hold a film-making workshop at 16:00-18:00 on Saturdays.
